There was no escape. Climbing a red, shiny ladder my head spun. I fell and it seemed like I was sinking into the pavement. I was very scared. My legs were running and running, and growing tired with every step. But I knew I couldn’t stop. Coins spilled out of my pockets, all my hard work wasted! I found a seat and needed sleep. I had run away from the orphanage where they hit children for fun. My hands were red and bleeding, and I knew I could not go back. I told myself to be brave, and to keep going.
